A few words from our guests
Aurélie war großartig!
(Aurélie was amazing!)
Dear Aurélie,
You are a beautiful person, inside and out, and you lift the spirits of everyone you meet.
Thank you for being an extraordinary guide: attentive, upbeat, encouraging, strong, compassionate and funny.
Merci for today.
You are a lovely guide and we really enjoyed our tour.
My mother and I had never been to Colmar. We were curious about local culture, lifestyle and history — and Aurélie brought it all to life. Highly recommended!
A personal, touching and memorable visit, far from tourist clichés. Aurélie’s stories made us see Colmar in a completely new light.
Meet your guide
Hi, I’m Aurélie, I was born and raised in Colmar, right in the historic centre, back when it still felt more like a village than a destination.
I would cycle through the old streets, stop at the butcher and baker, and listen to my grandmother complain about « les pavés« — the cobblestones that made every walk a little more challenging.
To me, it was simply home.
At 18, I left Colmar and spent the next 15 years travelling the world, living in different countries, discovering new ways of life, and collecting stories along the way.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and worked in high-end travel with companies such as Backroads and Butterfield & Robinson, leading small groups across cultures and continents.
Travel taught me to look beyond landmarks and guidebooks, towards the details that give a place its character.
I created this tour because I wanted you to experience Colmar not simply by looking at it, but by understanding how it feels to live here: its stories, traditions, hidden corners, and the details most visitors miss.
I speak French, English and Spanish, as well as a little Romanian — and I’ll teach you a few words of Alsatian along the way.
